Who are we

The Biochemical Society is a UK Learned Society for the advancement of Biochemistry. The major charitable objective of the Society is to promote biochemistry and the cellular and molecular life sciences in a variety of educational contexts. The Society fulfils its charitable mission through scientific conferences, publications, grant schemes and careers events, many of which are resourced by its own membership.

Our work with schools seeks to excite young people and inspire the next generation of young bioscientists. We also hope to promote a better understanding of the key biological challenges faced by citizens of the future.

How to upload a resource

We are keen for teachers to take ownership of SciberBrain by contributing to the resource bank. If you would like to customize any of our resources, we would be delighted if you would post them on the site for others to share. We would also be glad to hear of any other materials or links which you feel would be of use to teachers for any of the SciberBrain topics. Feel free to send us web links, blogs or something you have made yourself.

From the 'Files' page main menu, select the topic you want to add to and then click on the link ‘Share a resource'. Complete the feilds and click 'submit' to upload it. Please note that the resource you upload must be your own (do not upload any material for which you do not hold the copyright).

The resources you've uploaded should be available to view within a few days of uploading from the 'Contributed resources' page.
